Michael Charles Uhl, 74, of Monclova, OH, passed away at home on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Michael was born on December 2, 1950, in Toledo, OH, to Bernard B. and Margaret M. (Laskey) Uhl. Following high school and then college, Michael was blessed with 3 daughters from a prior marriage. He found love again and on September 20, 2008, he married Tonda S. Tienarend, in Oregon, OH. Michael and Tonda blended their families and have celebrated over 17 years of marriage.

Michael served as the Chief Financial Officer for S.E. Johnson Construction Co., for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, usually fishing, boating, and traveling with his wife, Tonda, to Tennessee. He loved spending time with his dog, Buddy. Michael enjoyed the cookie contest with his grandchildren every Christmas, which always included special prizes. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching football and hockey. Among his favorite things to do was cooking. He enjoyed making various meals, and among his best dish was his Jambalaya. It was the Jambalaya parties with the gang or his "family" that were his favorite. Because it was spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren, that was his greatest love of all.

In addition to his wife, Tonda, Michael is survived by his children, Emily (Keith) Murphy of MI, Molly Uhl of MI, Katie Uhl of MI, and Troy (Katlyn) Fritch of OH; grandchildren, Charlotte, Claire, Conor, Cedric, Anna, Brayden, and Grace; brothers, Jim Uhl, Bob Uhl; cousin and fishing buddy, Butch (Sandy) Uhl of MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dottie Zimmerman and Barb Harris.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Open House at Michael's home, at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2025. Michael will be laid to rest at a family committal service in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge, OH.
