Michael Vitanza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Falowski Kalis Mcintee Funeral and Cremation Services - Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 28, 2025.
Michael Vitanza, 60, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, in South Florida surrounded by close family members and friends.
Originally from Washingtonville, NY, Michael spent time in Raleigh, NC, Vieques, PR, and South Florida, fulfilling wonderful and varied experiences, challenges and adventures.
Michael graduated from SUNY Utica (aka SUNY Polytechnic Institute). Mike had many talents; he was an engineer, cook, tough athlete, disc-golfer, loved ocean activities, and was a great Pinochle player. He loved great Rock 'n' Roll music, his Corvettes, and had a passion for fine food and drink. Mike was a huge fan of the NC State Wolfpack, Charlotte Panthers, NY Yankees, and a lifelong, true (frustrated) fan of the NY JETS.
Above all, Mike had an appreciation and love of family and friends.
Michael is predeceased by his father, Alfred Vitanza. He is survived by his dear mother, Evelyn Vitanza (Wisinski), older sister, Lynette Bellomo (husband Michael), younger brothers, Jack Vitanza, Dominick Vitanza (wife Svetlana), and Thomas Vitanza (wife Daniele). Michael loved spending time with his nine nephews/nieces and four great-nieces.
