Michael Volcko Obituary
With sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Michael “Mike” J. Volcko, age 75, of Mechanicsburg, who died on Friday, October 11, 2024. Mike was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1949 in Syracuse, NY to the late Frank J. Volcko and Helen V. (Glowacki) Volcko.
His survivors include his wife of 22 years, Patricia “Patti” A. (Smith) Volcko; his step-son: Michael Brolle and fiancé, Tamara Hade of Mt. Holly Springs; his twin grandsons: Grant and Tucker; his brother: Frank J. Volcko, Jr. of Syracuse; his mother-in-law: Joy Gardner; his sister-in-law: Janice Harmon; and all of the Volcko family in New York and Iowa.
He was a Cornell University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in environmental science. Mike was a longtime manager at IBM, and was a member of the Men's Club in Mechanicsburg and the Business Men's League.
All are welcome to join Mike’s family at his Memorial Service on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015; with Reverend Stephen Salisbury officiating.
