Michael James Wachter was born Mar. 15, 1980 in Cincinnati & died peacefully on Sept. 12, 2025 at his residence in Miami Heights at the age of 45. He is survived by his parents, Sharon (nee Roenker) & James Wachter Jr., by his daughter, Hannah Hughes, by his brother & sister-in-law, Timothy & Julie Wachter, by his niece & nephew, Ava & Tanner Wachter, by his uncle & aunts, Steve Roenker (aka Uncle Beet), Jean St. John & Sheila Wachter, by cousins, Natalie, Joe & Makayla & by friends & co-workers. Mike was an Eagle Scout & a member of Troop 200 Boy Scouts of America, graduated from Taylor High School, served in the US Army & worked as a manager and cook at Nick & Tom's Restaurant. Friends are invited to join the family on Sat., Sept. 20 for a visitation from 2:00 PM until time of service with military honors at 3:30 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Reception immediately following the service.
