Phil was the kind of man that would drop everything to help out a friend, be there for a family member, or just stop to help out a stranger in need.

He was a loving devoted father whose children were the most important thing to him in the entire world.

Phil was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper. He loved nature. Plants and animals were a huge part of his life (not just for dinner)! Phil had a degree in Commercial Horticulture and loved teaching his children all of the Latin names for plants and all of the little details nobody knows.

Phil loved to sing and he was good at it. He won best senior instrumentalist in high school. Later, he won 3rd place in a talent show for singing. Karaoke was a regular event for him.

Phil loved life especially the simple things. Give him a fishing pole, a good song, a good movie, his children and a good woman to be by his side and he was the happiest man on earth. His words.

Phil was proceeded in death by his father, Daniel Wachter and his grandmother, Leona. Left behind are his four children, Aaron Wachter, Wyatt Wachter, Coletin Wachter, Lily Wachter; mother, Carolyn Wachter; siblings Brian (Trish) Smith, Eric Wachter, Kyle (Kristin) Wachter, Amy (Andrew) Schuchhardt, Sarah (J.D.) Goode; his fiancée, Angela Lincoln and her daughter Jaden Tennant; along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorials in memory of Phil may be given to the family to help with expenses.
