Michael Ray Wady, affectionately known as “Mike,” embarked on his final journey on December 18, 2025, leaving a remarkable legacy etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on April 9, 1957, Mike was a vivacious spirit who truly embodied the essence of humor and camaraderie. His outgoing nature and sharp wit brought laughter into countless lives, often brightening the darkest of days.
Mike was not just funny; he was cool in a way that was effortlessly magnetic. With a personality that welcomed everyone who crossed his path, he made it his mission to ensure that no one felt alone. His ability to speak his mind was a testament to his authenticity—a quality that endeared him even more to family and friends alike.
A proud veteran of the Army, Mike dedicated part of his life to serving his country, a chapter that further shaped his resilience and determination. After his service, he became known for his unique style, always appearing as a sharp dresser. His flair was palpable; there was never a moment when he didn’t stay fresh and look like a fly guy, effortlessly commanding the attention of any room he entered.
Beyond the laughter and style, Mike found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid pool player, spending countless hours honing his skills and sharing in the jovial company of friends. His love for the game was as vibrant as his infectious laugh, creating memories woven with camaraderie and friendly competition.
His vibrant presence will be deeply missed, yet the warmth of his spirit will forever linger in the memories and anecdotes shared among those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend. Mike’s kindness, humor, and inviting nature have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
As we gather to celebrate a life so beautifully lived, we invite all who knew Mike to join us for a visitation on January 2, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on January 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where we will collectively honor and remember the joyous and loving individual that Mike was.
Rest well, dear Mike, and thank you for the laughter, the cool stories, and the unwavering friendship. Your legacy lives on in our hearts, and your memory will shine as bright as your spirit.
