Michael D. Walters, 66, peacefully passed away at his home on August 26, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Farmington, WI on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Fricke officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Cemetery immediately following the service. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.

Michael Dean Walters was born on December 16, 1958, to parents Virgil and Barbara (Schultz) Walters. He worked as a welder at Trek, where he dedicated many years before retiring.

Michael had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, and mudding. He had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and cars. Michael also enjoyed a good game of bingo.

Michael is survived by children, Jason (Traci) Walters and Kimberly (Patrick) Killick; grandchildren, Dale, Ashley, Seth, Jeffrey, Kayla, and Stacey; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandy (Jeff), Jeff, Randy (Carol), and Gary; and girlfriend, Cheryl Floto; as well as other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Barbara Walters; and wife, Wanda Walters.
