Michael Wells

Michael Wells, born on 1/7/1953 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, passed away on 12/16/25. He was the son of David Wells and Reita Mullaney Wells. Michael grew up in Portsmouth, where he formed lasting ties to his community and carried those connections with him throughout his life.
As a kid, he enjoyed working for one of the Lobsterman, Ray with his lobster traps on Nobles Island. He loved playing his drums in the soundproof room dad built in the basement. And, his weekly 10 pin bowling every week in North Hampton.
Michael will be remembered for his steady presence, his kindness, and the care he showed to those around him. He valued family, friendship, and the simple moments that brought people together. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and shared in his life.
He is survived by his sister Pat Wells Donahue and her husband, 1 nephew and 5 nieces along with 5 great-nephews and 9 great-nieces. Also, our Miles (dog), who he loved to see.
