Michael Lynn White

Michael Lynn White, age 62, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Baptist Health and Medical Center. He was born February 23, 1963, in Russellville to Marvin Gene and Carolyn Sue Mays White.

He was a 1981 graduate of Russellville High School. He served in the United States Army National Guard as a specialist in the 239th Engineer Company and was honorably discharged in 1990. Mike was a retired electrician and maintenance worker at Innovation Industries and retired firefighter of Atkins Fire Department.

He was a lover of motorcycles and proud HOG member. His most proud accomplishments were his grandchildren. He loved watching and supporting them in all their sports and activities. Mike loved to travel and was always ready for a trip.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanna Dickey; and a nephew, Brian Sims.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Karen White; a son, Andrew White (Jamie) of Oppelo; a daughter, Andrea Strickland (Joe) of Pottsville; grandchildren, Dayton and Korbin Rawlings, Abigail, Olivia, Emilia, and Tucker White; bonus granddaughter, Caitlyn Roberts; and brothers, Danny White (Becky) of Russellville and Gary White of Bella Vista.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with the Pastor Susan Allen officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Atkins under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Andrew White, Dayton Rawlings, Korbin Rawlings, Joe Strickland, Bro Price, and Roy Pitts.
