Michael A. Winscher, 66, of Chippewa Falls died with family by his side on January 19, 2025. He fought a courageous battle against cancer and is at peace.
Mike was born on February 10, 1958, to Burt and Beverly (Lanners) Winscher in Chippewa Falls. He married the love of his life, Janet Chaltry, on July 18, 1987, in Fond du Lac, WI.
Mike is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 37 years, Janet; brothers, Mark (Terri) of Merrimac, Charles (Laureena) of Janesville, and Steve of Mondovi; and his two nephews, Joshua and Tony.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Beverly; sister-in-law, Ginny; and his nephew, Aaron.
Mike was an avid reader, enjoyed being in nature, and loved lake life with a Leinies in his hand.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their support, care, and kindness, during Mike’s final days.
