Michael Charles Wolos Esq., a respected professional with a diverse career background, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at McLaren Flint. In accordance with Michael's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St. Flushing, Michigan 48433. Arrangements will be announced by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.
Michael was born on March 21, 1952, in Flint the son of the late Frank and Patricia (Kinnen) Wolos. Education played a significant role in shaping Michael's career. He graduated from Carmen High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Flint, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and a Doctorate in Law from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He also obtained a Project Management degree from George Washington University and a degree in Labor Relations, showcasing his dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
He was united in marriage to Sharyn Sanders on September 6, 1984 in Flint. Michael dedicated 36 years of his life to General Motors Delphi, where he began in November 1971 and rose to the position of supervisor of skill trades before retiring in January 2008. His expertise and leadership made a lasting impact on those he worked with. In addition to his work at General Motors, Michael pursued various other endeavors. He worked as an Attorney, Real Estate Broker, and Investor, Consulting under the entities of Attorney Michael C. Wolos PLCC and Michael C. Wolos LLC. Michael also worked in construction and building for Mychael Builders. His drive and commitment to excellence shone through in every role he undertook.
Outside of his professional life, Michael had a passion for hunting, fishing, and collecting guns. These hobbies provided him with moments of relaxation and joy amidst his busy schedule.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Sharyn Wolos; daughter, Mellisa (John Hamati) Wolos; son, Anthony (Hillary) Cusenza; daughter, Alexandra Wolos; grandson, Michael Wolos; and his special aunt and uncle, Bill and Charlene Stanke.
