Michael Glenn Workman Sr.

Michael Glenn Workman Sr., 75, of Georgetown, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 10, 1949 in Brooksville, KY, to the late Howard and Patsy Ruth Workman Lemons. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lemons.
Michael was a man of his faith, serving as an elder at Central Christian Church. He had a passion for horses and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren deeply; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his wife, Cheri Workman; sons, Michael G. Workman Jr., Tyler (Amanda) Workman; daughter, Lori Workman; stepchildren, Kim Bartells, Chad Adams; brothers, Jackie (Sue) Lemons, Randy Lemons; sisters, Betty Jo Lemons, Debbie Cortner, Melinda (Rick) Kurtz, Vicki McClain; grandchildren, Hollie Workman, Jamison Howard, Sydnie Lyons, Cody Workman, Kyle Workman, Amanda Workman, Brittany Jones, Brandon Woodford; twelve great-grandchildren; and special friends, Randy Stumbo, Allen Moore, George and Jo Ann Switzer, and Gene McKinley.
A funeral service for Michael will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation prior to service at 11:00 A.M. Bro. Benny Northcutt and Bro. CJ Epperson will lead the services. Burial will take place at Republican Christian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Michael Workman, Tyler Workman, Cody Workman, Kyle Workman, Brandon Woodford, Tyler Jones, Sherryl Snapp, and Jason Craig.
