Michael Zavala, age 49, of Katy, Texas, died on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born on June 22, 1975, in Rosenberg, TX, to Julio and Maria Zavala.
Michael was a caring and loving person who always took care of his family. He was a protector and a tough man. Michael often reached out to family and friends to keep communication strong. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, woodworking, playing with his grandson, and spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly.
Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sotero Zavala and Guadalupe Zavala; his maternal grandfather, Luis Zavala; his sister, Yvonne Zavala; and his brother, Jason Zavala.
Michael is survived by his wife, Michelle Richard; his three children, Michael James Zavala, Mark Anthony Zavala, and Madison Cheyenne Ramirez; his grandson, Anthony Charles Sandrea; his parents, Julio and Maria Zavala; and eleven siblings, Julio Zavala Jr., Elaine Watkins, Rudy Zavala, Jeremy Zavala, David Zavala, Laura Zavala, Rita Zavala Orta, Omar Zavala, Jacob Zavala, Lydia Wells, and Theresa Zavala. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Gloria Zavala, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
