Michael R. Zimmerman

Michael R. Zimmerman, 59, Heavy Equipment Operator and lifelong resident of Monroe County. Mike was born on December 4, 1962 in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Robert E. and Maragarete (Oertel) Zimmerman. Mikes priorities were simple: family, work, and truck. He always chose to put his family first. A skilled craftsman in all that he did, home building, furniture making, and truck washing. Mike was the beloved husband of Lorri Zimmerman who would have shared 25 wonderful years of marriage this year. Their beautiful ceremony took place in December 1997 and not a day went by where their love ever faded.
In addition to his wife Lorri, he has three incredible children, the eldest son, Michael Zimmerman and wife Beata, a daughter Kendell Benasutti and husband Mark, and youngest son Ryan Zimmerman. A grandchild, Alexander Zimmerman and another grandson on the way. A sister, Joanne Rogers and husband Douglas. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him. Those are big boots to fill!
A memorial service will take place at 7:00P.M. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco where the family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00P.M. until the time of service.
