Micheal Blanchard Obituary

Mike loved to be outdoors, watching Nascar and drag racing. His grandkids were his world. Mike enjoyed attending their events and their laughter at the jokes they played on him.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, August 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Chauvin from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Denise (Del) Pellegrin; son, Jonathan Blanchard; brother, Emery "Louie" Blanchard; and granddaughters: Alyssa and Lacie Pellegrin.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Laura Blanchard; mother, Emily Blanchard; father, Norman Blanchard; sister, Karen Johnson; and sons: Christopher and Paul Blanchard.
