Michele Denise Hoskinson, 55, of Orrville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, Sept, 25, 2022 after a 4 year battle with cancer.
Michele was born on Oct. 11, 1966 in Fort Gordon, GA to Garland and Susan (Garrison) Jackson and was a 1985 graduate of Norwayne High School. She later graduated from the University of Toledo and had worked at the University Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Cardiology Depts. For the past twenty plus years she has worked at Mercy Hospital Cardiology Dept. in Canton. Michele had been a part of a Medical Team that had traveled to Armenia to care for patients. Michele loved horses and had participated in equestrian competitions and show riding. She was a member of the Classical Attraction Dressage Society and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She had a great love for her horse, TJ, her boxer, Buddy and she somewhat loved the cat but her greatest love was her son, Samuel.
Surviving are her son, Samuel Hoskinson of Orrville; her parents, Susie and Dave McDougal of Creston and Garland and Sue Jackson of Sterling; her sisters and brother, Jody Shaw of Wooster, Kara Kauffman of Creston, Brent (Annie) McDougal of Smithville and Leah McDougal of Creston; 6 nieces and nephews and her friend and former husband, Aaron Hoskinson of Smithville.
Friends may call Friday, Sept. 30th from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where a private family service will be held on Saturday with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
