Michele Ranson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home on Dec. 10, 2025.
Michele A. Ranson, age 68, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in the Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, PA. Born on June 11, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Noreen A. (Frederick) Miller.

Michele was a 1975 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in public health from West Chester University, and her nursing degree from Montgomery County Community College. She worked as a registered nurse at the Montgomery County Geriatric Center, now Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation in Royersford, before continuing her nursing career for KenCrest Services, where she was still working at the time of her passing.

Michele was an avid gardener and took pride in her plants. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. Most of all, however, she loved her family and cherished the visits with her grandchildren.

Michele is survived by three children, Julia Mooney (Patrick), Alexander Ranson, and Michael Ranson; two grandchildren and one step-granddaughter, Liam Mooney, Violet Mooney, and Ryan Mooney; six siblings, Joseph L. Miller (Renee), George R. Miller (Laura), Michael G. Miller who is her twin brother, Stephen J. Miller (the late Mary), Mary Beth Moser (the late John Jr.), and Frederick T. Miller (Jeanine); and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass at St. Teresa of Calcutta R.C. Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Fr. Paul Brandt. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM in the Church on Friday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Gift of Life Donor Program by visiting www.donors1.org/give-to-gift-of-life/.
