Micheline Gracia Dupont, 81, of Lake Oswego, OR left us on August 11, 2025, peacefully in her sleep. A beloved mother and grandmother, Micheline or "Mimi" by her friends and "Mima" by her grandchildren, will always be remembered for her generosity of spirit, her love of travel and art, and her love of her children and grandchildren.

With her unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Mimi was a perpetual student, constantly enrolled in classes at the local community college for topics such as art, philosophy, web design, computer software, and cooking.

Born on March 31, 1944, in Montreal, Mima grew up as the daughter of Fernand and Gracia Dupont and sister to one brother: Gilles, and 3 sisters: Suzanne, Gigi, and Marielle. When she wasn't helping around the house, Mimi was dreaming of traveling the world, something her beloved Aunt Irene passed on to her.

At the age of 19, Mimi left Canada for the United States to join Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant, where she proceeded to follow her dream and travel the world. She later took another position at United Airlines where she worked as an International Reservations agent for 25 years. She used the benefits of this career choice to travel around the world with her children, creating wonderful life-long memories.

After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii until her retirement from United Airlines in 2014. She then moved to Lake Oswego, OR where she filled her time creating art, spending time with her grandchildren, going on picnics, practicing Tai Chi and Qigong, and trying out new recipes from her favorite online French chef.

Mimi is survived by her siblings, her son Christopher May, daughter, Stephanie May, son-in-law Drew Butz and her beloved grandchildren Evan Butz and Riley Butz.
