Michelle Brousseau, 61 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025, after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer.
Michelle was born on June 6, 1963, to Alphonse and Georgiana (Guy) Brousseau in Methuen, Massachusetts. She will be remembered by her family and many friends for her love of life and adventure seeking.
Michelle enjoyed many things in life. From trips to the casino, laying on a beach, spending many nights just hanging out at the camp with the girls, going to yard sales, listening to music – and let's not forget her ice coffee – she couldn't leave home without it! She also enjoyed going out for Chinese food and loved her Mai Tais. But mostly, Michelle's passion was for gardening. She had an ability to help anything take root and grow strong. That nurturing quality which she had also showed in the many years Michelle and her mother lived together and took care of each other.
Michelle was unique to say the least! She always walked with a strut in her step, never in a rush, and time did not exist in her world! But that was who Michelle was. the lover of everything outdoors and she appreciated the little things in life. She had a gift to find beauty in the smallest things
where others would have missed it.
Michelle made anything and everything an adventure. Her motto was, "You never know where the day would take you."
Michelle was many things to many people. She was the keeper of your secrets, your partner in crime, and at times your alibi. Michelle had an amazing sense of humor and a smile that could fill a room.
Michelle would not want anyone to mourn her, but rather to remember her with a smile, recalling funny stories, special times and happy memories. The ones we love never truly leave us. They now walk beside us. She always said the only way to find where you're going is to "wander".
Please join her family and friends at calling hours on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 10-11:00 at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be placed in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
