Michelle Conn
04/09/1985 – 01/24/2024
Michelle Conn passed away during the night from complications with her
Type 1 Diabetes and a broken heart. Michelle lived in Sugar Land most of
her life. She was a very good volleyball setter at First Colony Middle School
and Clements High School. She also played volleyball for Club Texas and
was invited to try out for the USA Team 14 Volleyball Team. After she
graduated from Clements High School in 2003, she attended Blinn
College/Bryan and Texas A&M Galveston.
Michelle is survived by her two lovely daughters Kayden born 10/10/2013
and Evalina born 04/18/2015, parents Pat & Sheryl Conn, sister April &
Mike LaBoda, Uncle Cliff Halphen, Aunt Roxanne Halphen, Aunt Kristi
Halphen, Uncle Michael Conn, Aunt Connie Conn, Cousins Shane Conn,
Jennifer Halphen Wallis, David Halphen, Summer Halphen, Niece Anna
LaBoda, Nephew Connor LaBoda & her cat Keona all of whom she loved
very much.
Michelle was very loving and outgoing. She was artistic, loved to doodle
draw and had some excellent drawings. She loved all animals except
cockroaches and spiders but could not even bring herself to kill them. She
loved the jobs that she had in the pet industry and was working to become
a Pet Groomer.
Michelle believed strongly in God. However, Michelle dreaded funerals and
never could attend one. Therefore, there will not be any formal funeral.
Instead, there will be some private moments starting with the spreading of
her ashes at some of her favorite places on her birthday April 9th. The
family asks that in honor of Michelle on April 9th that you say a prayer for
Michelle, wish her Happy Birthday and spend some extra time with your
family.

My whole summer childhood is a favorite with Michelle! She was beautiful and had the brightest light and the best laugh. We would laugh the whole summer and be silly and goof off! Her mom was our personal driver and would join in on all of our jokes. She took us to pottery painting, the new mall when it opened, and of course movies and Astro world! We had had so much fun growing up and I´m so thankful for all of those memories! Until we can be silly and laugh again friend!

I was Michelle's 5th-grade teacher and enjoyed having her in my class. Not only was she a good student but she was helpful. Michelle was a happy child with a contagious laugh. Also, she was kind to others. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
