Michelle "Missy" R. Muehlbauer, age 62, of Willmar, passed away Friday, July 4, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar following a brief illness.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. followed by her celebration of life service at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Interment will be in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery. www.petersonbrothers.com
Missy was born on September 18, 1962, in Morris, Minnesota, the daughter of Ronald and Priscilla "Pat" (Christenson) Muehlbauer. She grew up in the Morris community, graduated from Morris High School in 1981 and later from Fergus Falls Community College LPN and Medical Coding programs. Missy worked as a technician in several area pharmacy's prior to working at Cub Pharmacy for the past 10 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Missy enjoyed playing purse bingo, attending KRA races and entertaining family and friends. She cherished her annual sister weekends and spending time with her grandson, Leo.
She is survived by her two children, Lesly Bertram of Herman and Bailey Muehlbauer of Willmar; her grandson, Leo; her father, Ronald Muehlbauer of Willmar; four siblings, Mike Muehlbauer of St. Charles, MO., Lisa (and Steve) Eystad of Clitherall, Todd (and Bryn) Muehlbauer of Sauk Rapids and Marcy (and Stephen) Swenson of Willmar, besides several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat in 2021 and a sister-in-law, Renay Muehlbauer.
