It is with a heavy sadness in our hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Jack Everett Muehlbauer, 82.

Jack passed away peacefully at his home in Jensen Beach, FL, on 8/16/22 with his loving wife Barbara and daughter Kristin at his side. After a long, courageous battle with prostate cancer, he is now at peace.

Jack is survived by his much-loved wife, Barbara, sharing 55 years together, his loving family, including daughter Kristin and grandson Hunter. Jack is also survived by his son Chad and daughter Donna from his first marriage, and also a deceased son, Tod, from his first marriage. He is also survived by his brother Fred, stepson Brian, many loving family members, and many cherished friends. All were very dear to him.

Son of Nathalie and Ferdinand Muehlbauer, Jack was born and lived his earlier years in New York City. He was a US Navy veteran, having served proudly in the Navy Submarine Service.

Among the many trades he excelled in, Jack was a Sr. Electrical Estimator and home builder. Owning Castles East Incorporated, he proudly built 3 unique homes in Lisbon, Marlborough and Cromwell Connecticut. A move followed, out of Connecticut, down to Martin County, Florida, living in Stuart and Jensen Beach, FL., for over 35 years, until his passing.

Jack possessed a wonderful sense of humor and so often shared laughter and fun times at gatherings with beloved family and many close friends. His integrity, kindness, and generosity were shown in all he did and spread to all he knew. He was an extraordinary man, an exceptional father and grandfather, much loved and cherished by his family.

Jack was a true Pisces, loving the sea, lakes, and rivers, and shared many special, fun times on his boat with family and friends, and also shared exciting times on a few far-off cruises with Barbara and friends. He was a private pilot in his younger years, often making flights around Ct, and up and down the East Coast. He loved music, and loved to dance slowly with Barbara, holding each other, listening to special classic oldies, a Frank Sinatra song, their favorite Strangers in the Night", or Barry White's "You're the First, the Last...my Everything"

Jack loved to write beautiful stories and poetry of the special love he had for Barbara, and their love and life shared together. Jack once wrote to her, "When the last star in the universe dims......and then burns out.....if one looks up into the night skies.....that tiny light, still burning in the distance.....is My Love for You !.. Forever, Jack "

Many precious memories of this very much-loved man will live on in our hearts. We know he will always be with us, watching over us.
