Michelle Thomas Obituary

Obituary of Michelle Lei Thomas Michelle "Shelly" (Bebee) Thomas (52) our beloved sister, friend, and grandmother left us on January 25, 2023 at Providence St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, MT after a brief illness. Shelly attended school in St. Maries with the class of 1989. Following her schooling, Shelly attended the University of Idaho on the NIC campus in Coeur d' Alene. Shelly started dating the love of her life Eric Thomas. The couple married on September 7, 2002, up the St. Joe River near St. Maries. The couple built a beautiful life together in Missoula, MT where they raised their 2 grandkids. Shelly worked for Partners in Home Care in Missoula since 2008 holding many positions such as Private Care Attendant, Home Care Schedular, and most recently a Specialist in Insurance Authorization. Shelly enjoyed being involved in the adult softball league her husband played in. She loved being in the outdoors specifically camping and riding. Her world fell apart in January of 2019 when her husband died; however she kept herself busy at work and raising her grandchildren. Shelly is survived by her stepmother Linda Thomas of St. Maries; brother Jim Bebee of St. Maries; grandchildren Rosalynn and Rebel of Missoula, MT; many nieces, nephews, and loving in-laws all over the St. Maries area. She is preceded in death by her father James Bebee, mother Christine (Whipp) Bebee, her beloved husband Eric Thomas, and her stepfather Bill Thomas. A memorial service will be at Garden City Funeral Home on March 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband Eric. A service in St. Maries may be announced at a later date.
