Saint George, Utah - Michelle Marie Wetzel, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024, in her hometown of Saint George, Utah. Born on September 7, 1979, to Teresa and Jim Wetzel, Michelle was the eldest of five siblings, a role she embraced with love and devotion.
Michelle's bright personality and unique sense of style made her unforgettable. She expressed her individuality through her vibrant hairstyles and distinctive outfits, always standing out and shining in every crowd. Her creativity extended to her art, where she excelled as an amazing artist, bringing beauty and emotion to every piece she created.
Her love for animals was boundless. Michelle dedicated much of her life to rescuing animals in need, providing them with care and affection. Her compassion and kindness knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of many, both human and animal alike.
Michelle is survived by her loving wife, Bonnie Wetzel, and their cherished son, Colton. She also leaves behind her devoted mother, Teresa McCard; her father, Jim Wetzel; and her siblings: Tyson and Brandon Wetzel, Amber and Justin Cram. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion.
Michelle's life was a testament to the power of individuality, creativity, and kindness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, forever inspiring us to embrace our uniqueness and to care deeply for those around us. Rest in peace, Michelle. You will be dearly missed.
Services to celebrate Michelle's life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah 84770.
