Michelle Devey Zaharias passed away January 7, 2025.
Michelle Devey was born to Ron Devey and Lori Bennett on September 29, 1980 in Provo Utah. At the time of her birth, she had one older brother, Scott, and later became an older sister to Jennifer, Patricia, and Kimberly.
On September 27, 2003, Michelle married Aaron Zaharias and the two of them raised 3 wonderful children–Austin, Andrew, and Dani.
Michelle was the driving force within the family. She actively advocated for her children in early childhood to push their education forward. She constantly pushed her husband to develop new skills to further both his education and career. Michelle also enhanced her own career through a variety of college courses and a drive to continuously educate herself.
Michelle was proceeded in death by her nephew William Westphal, step-brother Derek Clutter, brother-in-law Devin Zaharias, and brother-in-law Keegan Westphal. She was welcomed into heaven by them and countless grandparents that were all a large part of her life.
Michelle will be missed and forever remembered by her husband Aaron; children Austin, Andrew and Dani; parents Ron and Penney Devey and Lori and Mark Clutter; father-in-law Dan Zaharias; and mother-in-law Kathy Hammer; her sisters, brothers and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held in Alpine Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the Mountainville 1 Ward Chapel, located at 98 East Canyon Crest Road. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 am with services beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the services in the Alpine City Cemetery after which the Mountainville 1 Ward and Alpine 11th Ward will provide a luncheon for family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pointe Meadows Rehab facility for their care during the last days of Michelle's life.
