Mickey Calvin (Mick) McLeod passed away Thursday, January 29th, 2026 at the age of 74 years.
Mick was born on May 18, 1951 in Lethbridge, Alberta and grew up in the Lomond area. He is fondly remembered for his bright smile, sense of humor and passion for horses. He took great pride in his family; especially his sons and four grandsons. He loved time spent with all his boys (and their girls).
Mick is survived by his two sons, Tyler (Lani) and Clayton (Keeley); four grandsons, Rhett, Jasper, Weston and Cooper; brothers Allen (Sharon), Clint (Sherry); sister Marilyn (Brady) Fleming; aunt Eileen Brownell as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life for Mick will take place May 3rd 2026 at the Crossfield Community Centre (900 Mountain Ave, Crossfield, Alberta) from 1:00 - 3:00pm.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Foothills Country Hospice Society for their kind and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mick’s memory can be made to the Foothills Country Hospice Society (Box 274, Okotoks AB T1S 1A5)
