Mickey Rogillio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bowser Family Funeral Home - Mena on Mar. 15, 2025.
Mickey Lloyd Rogillio, age 77, of Mena, Arkansas passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Mena Regional Health System. He was born on Monday, September 15, 1947, to Robert Ira and Laura Ethel Waid Rogillio in Winnsboro, Texas.
Mickey had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger, always striking up conversations and telling jokes wherever he went. He served as a police officer for the Azle Police Department in Azle, TX for ten years before continuing his career with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department for 15 years. After retiring, he moved to Mena, where he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and spending time at the shooting range. Mickey also had a deep passion for archery, which he passed on to his son, who then shared it with his grandson, creating a special family bond through the sport. He was deeply devoted to his family, especially his brothers, cherishing the time they spent together. His close-knit family was his greatest source of pride, and he will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the love he shared with those around him.
Mickey is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Syrrel Rogillio, George Rogillio, and Ricky Rogillio.
Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Rogillio of Mena; one son, Michael Lloyd Rogillio of Tyler, Texas; one daughter and son in law, Lori Ann and Jeff Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Joyce Rogillio Cassady of White House, Texas; four grandchildren, Mariah Rogillio, Megan Horn, Zane Rogillio, and Clayton Templeton; and one great grandchild, Benjamin Horn; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
