Mickey Watson Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Bro. Greg Dial officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.
Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his son, Michael Watson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Carolyn Marcell Watson; daughters, Tina Stumpf and Sharon Hughes; daughter in law, Lorien Watson; grandchildren, 10; great-grandchildren, 18; siblings, Monty Watson and Gwen Jones.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Mickey Watson, Justin Watson, Noah Watson, Tyler Rice, Christian Hughes, and Jacob Stumpf.

Mickey was my sweet first cousin and my heart is broken. Special thoughts and prayers for his precious wife, Marcel. God bless her and the children and grandchildren. I know he was a wonderful loving granddaddy, and he will be greatly missed. "Go rest high on that mountain, son your work on earth is done," I know Mickey is shouting his love for the Father and the Son.
