Miguel was born in Fountain Hill on April 22, 1986 son of Michelle Garcia and Miguel Rivera.
Miguel graduated from Freedon High School.
He worked as an Environmental Services Group Leader at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill.
He was Christian.
Miguel was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Football Fan.
Survivors: Mother Michelle, step-father Jose Ivan Perez, father Miguel Rivera, maternal grandmother Margarita Reyes; sons Mason Rivera and Jordan Rivera; sisters Denise Perez, Delilah Perez and Yazeleen Rivera, brothers Sean Harnett, Jose Rivera, Jose Perez and Jonathan Perez. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Irma and Maximo Rivera and an Uncle Herbert.
Viewing & Service: Thursday May 29, 2025, viewing 5PM to 7PM, with a service at 6:30PM all at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market streets Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Contributions: In his memory to the American Diabetes Association.

It´s been two months... and here I am searching, feeling empty, and lost. The saddest reality is that I have to come here, to words, to grief, to memories because I can´t come to you.
I miss you. Deeply. Endlessly.
My mind is full of should have, could have, would have. And yet, when I look back, there was never a need for big apologies or grand make-ups. We never fought. Never really argued. Just the occasional minor disagreement. You were so easy to love Jake. Cooler than a fan. I love you so much for that!
My greatest childhood memories were with you. Jumping on the bed when we weren´t supposed to. Playing hide and seek in the house. Walking to the bodega, turning five dollars into a treasure trove of penny candy.
Just me you & Jose the 3 of us, living in that small world that felt so big back then.
You were my Big brother. My friend. My safe place.
I love you forever, Jake. And I miss you more than words could ever carry.
