Mikaela Wzorek Roper

Blythe Mikaela Wzorek Roper, 27, of Clinton, the wife of Michael Fulton Roper, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at her home.

Born in Greenville on October 28, 1997, Mikaela was the daughter of Chris and Brandy Freeman Wzorek. After graduating from Laurens District 55 High School in 2016, Mikaela attended Lander University, then transferred and graduated from Piedmont Technical College with a degree in nursing. She was completely devoted to her job as an RN at Lakelands Family Practice and Pediatrics. Mikaela and Michael were high school sweethearts and have been together for 13 years and married for the last 5. She loved her husband, children, and all of her family with her whole heart and was faithfully committed to them all. She and Michael were faithful members of Ora ARP Church where they both cherished the time spent serving their Lord. Mikaela was always known for being competitive in everything she did. Mikaela enjoyed many activities including volleyball, fishing, hunting, kayaking, and she loved her Clemson Tigers! She was a strong, independent, patient person who touched the life of every person that she encountered in a special way. One of her dear friends has recently said "you made heaven beautiful, and was such a light in my life, a wonderful friend, and an even better mama."

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by children, Harrison Michael Roper, Walter Fulton Roper, and Matthew Christopher Roper; siblings, Brandon Michael Wzorek, Chance Alexander Wzorek (Lindsey), and Callie Abigail Wzorek; maternal grandparents, Mike and Toni Freeman; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Sharon Wzorek; and in-laws, Rev. Sam and Pam Roper.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Ora ARP Church, conducted by Rev. Watson Gunderson. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary immediately following the service.
