Michael "Mike" Wayne Bridgeman passed away August 15th, 2022 from pancreatic cancer at home with his children.
Mike was born June 29th, 1959 in Quincy, IL and was the son of the Wayne Bridgeman and Barbara Douglas.
Mike was also preceded in death by Brother Jeffrey Bridgeman, Sister Brenda Noel, step brother John Adams, longtime girlfriend Renee Carlyle, Step Daughter Raquel Carlyle, and step father Jack Douglas
Mike was a Quincy Senior High School graduate of class of 1977. After high school he played in multiple bands in the Quad Cities as a drummer. Mike was an avid drummer his whole life and could recite anything by ear. He worked at McKays Plating for 42 years in the quad cities. Mike enjoyed deer hunting at his friends property.
Mike was a jokester who always had a punch line. Some of his favorite sayings was "if it's free its for me" and when people left he always said "drive fast" which we all knew he would never speed, and always told everyone "I'm glad you got to meet me"!
Mike is survived by both parents Wayne (June) Bridgeman and Barbara Douglas of Quincy Illinois, Son Dustin (Sarah) Bridgeman grandchildren Allyson, Ava, Everly & Alaric, Daughter Brittney (Josh) Huffman grandchildren Marlee & Hendrix Huffman. Nephews Nick Noel, Aj & Shawn Sohn, Alex & Logan Adams.
There will be 2 celebrations of life 1st will be in Quad Cities, IL Friday evening the Aug 26th and 2nd will be in Quincy, IL Saturday Aug 27th.
