I just learned of my forever best friend Mike Collis' passing. That's the sad thing about living away from the area we grew up in. I loved Mike. He was funny. He was smart. We went to so many concerts together, went fishing with James Tanner. Had crazy parties as you can imagine in the mid-70s. He made me go out for football and I ended up tackling and hurting him on the first play of practice with the great Guy Dale. Mike was tough as nails just like his daddy Everett. I loved his mom and his sister too. Heaven has a wonderful addition in Michael James Collis. I could go on forever.

I didn't know Michael very long worked with him through Hospice of the Blue Ridge. He was a wonderful Care giver. He would go out of his way to honestly help someone in need. He had a Giant of a heart to help someone in need. He will truly be missed. Rest in Peace Michael we will Care On The Torch in memory of you kind Sir.
