Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Michael Douglas "Mike" McKnight, age 70 of Marietta, GA., who died Sunday September 28, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday October 6, 2025, in the Wadley City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Stubbs officiating.
Mike was born in Japan February 25, 1955, a son of the late James Butler McKnight and Frances Hammons McKnight. He was also preceded in death by a brother Errick McKnight. Mike had worked as an Aviation Engineer with Aircraft Maintenance.
Mr. McKnight is survived by, sister and brother in-law, Jacki & David Lecka of Banner Elk, NC., several nieces, nephews, Cousins and friends.
The McKnight family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:30 Monday at the funeral home.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville is in charge of arrangements.

Out thoughts and Prayers for Mike and his Family in this time of grief and sorrow. have known Mike and his Dad Jimmy for many years and worked with him at ACF-50. He was a true gentleman and Dear Friend. Always had an infectious smile and pleasant personality. Baked a cake today with is famous "Pecans" in his Honor. Rest in Peace Mike. May God Bless.
