Mike Roth, 75, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Mike was born on March 22, 1949 in Canton, Ohio the son of the late John 'Jack' and Frances Roth.
Mike was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1967 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He loved playing basketball, baseball, and golfing. He was a member of a Senior Basketball League. He would play golf at both Tam O' Shanter and Arrowhead golf courses. He enjoyed his dogs, riding his motorcycle, traveling, driving his classic sports cars, and drinking Guinness and Irish whiskey. He was a proud father to 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. He was a member of the Corvette Club. He was an avid Cleveland sports and Buckeye's fan whether they won or lost.
He is survived by his daughters, Caitlin ( fiancée, Beau Lindesmith) Roth and Rachel (Aaron) Jamieson; grandchildren, Amber (Brooklynn Arnold) Jamieson, Shannon Jamieson, William Jamieson, Travis Jamieson, and Randy Jamieson; and former spouse, Christine J. Roth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 2 - 3 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Mike's life at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society. To leave a message for Mike's family, please sign the online guest book.
