Mike Rowand Obituary
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, his friends, the people with whom he worked, and the customers he served for 11 years at Holly Chevrolet in Marion AR. He loved people and had a great passion for his canine children: Zilla, Scarlett, Rhett, and Vivien. He was a fighter who never gave up in his battle with cancer.
He graduated from Pulaski Academy in Little Rock AR and attended University of New Mexico and University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
He is predeceased by his father, Dick Rowand.
He is survived by his wife, Susie, his mother, Fae Seay, his brother, Rick, his nephew, Ian, his niece, McKenzie Jardine (Alex), and his great niece, Madison Jardine.
He was a faithful member of Christ Methodist Church and of The Amazing Grace Sunday School class in Memphis.
Services will be held at Christ Methodist Church, Wilson Chapel at 4488 Poplar Avenue, Memphis TN 38117 on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wings Foundation at West Cancer Center, 7945 Wolf River Boulevard, Germantown TN 38138.

Dearest Mike,
Bob Cheney and I met you only once but Fae kept us informed about your miraculous struggle with cancer which only just ended. I just battled death for the last two months in hospital but made it. Your dear mom, Fae, is my beloved friend but I have lost much memory and hope she can find me again among her many loved ones. Love from Diane (and Bob) Cheney in Arizona.
