Peggy Ann (Jolliffe) Rowand, 87, of Idamay, formerly of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her home. She was born in Grafton on December 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Leroy and Beatrice (Pierce) Brown.

She is survived by her loving husband, Archie Lee Rowand whom she married February 24, 2001.

Peggy is also survived by her daughters, Nita Richards and her husband Dan; Annetta Shahan and her husband Frankie; step-sons, Clinton Rowand and his wife Amy; Dennis Rowand; and Tommy Jolliffe; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Billy (Sandy), Lee (Belinda), and Rocky (Dawn) Brown; her sister, Faye (Danny) Kirkpatrick; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edwin Jolliffe; step-daughter, Jeannie Pecjak; siblings, June (Charles) Martin; Linda (Troy) Butcher; Susan (Frank) Dadisman; Evelyn Frey; Patricia Jeanette in childhood; Larry Brown; and Rusty Allen Brown in infancy.

Peggy was a faithful member of the Oakhurst Church of Christ. She and Archie loved to attend Church of Christ "Sings" and would travel miles to enjoy that fellowship. Peggy was a hardworking and strong-willed person. She was a great caregiver to her beloved Archie. She loved to garden and talk about her family. She also enjoyed playing games with friends.

Friends will be received at Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Hwy Farmington, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm. Evangelists Clinton Rowand and Craig Matheny will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Grafton.
