Michael Delroy Stowe, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born in California on June 12, 1945, son of James Edward and Ann (Wheat) Stowe.
Mike was a 1962 graduate of Cannelton High School. After high school he joined the United States Army. Mike married his best friend Claudia "Jeannie" Brown on October 27, 1985. Together they shared 45 years of laughter and love.
Mike worked at Schwab Safe for over 27 years. He was a member of VFW Post 2039 in Tell City. Mike loved being with his family, playing cards, especially euchre, camping, hunting, fishing, and driving his Camaro.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Jeannie Stowe of Tell City; son, Ronnie (Lori) Stowe of Tell City; daughter, Missy Poehlein of Tell City; brother, Ron (Garnett) Stowe of Tell City; grandchildren, Tori (Damon) Powers, Maddie (John) Pillow, Gabby Stowe, Chance (Christina) Litherland, Peyton (Doug) Finney, and Stevi Litherland; great grandchildren, Theo, Oliver, Clarence, Cecelia, Piper, Cash Michael, and one on the way.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Hank Stowe.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home, visitation will be from 3:00pm until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to River's Edge Animal Shelter.
