Mikel Shaun Dwayne Griffith aged 37 of Flora Vista, New Mexico passed away on Friday December 2, 2022. Mikel was born on March 15, 1985, in Dallas, Texas to Mark Griffith and Robyn Magness.
Mikel attended Farmington High School but received his diploma from Gallup Central High. Through the years he was employed with several different companies but was currently employed by Pruiett Compression in Midland, Texas. He attended boot camp to proudly serve our country with the United States Army but unfortunately was medically discharged shortly thereafter. He enjoyed working on trucks, building different projects, spending time with family and friends, watching his favorite football team and cracking a cold one with his buddies and most of all being sarcastic any chance he got. Mikel was a jack of all trades and there wasn’t anything he Wouldn’t try nor couldn’t do and if he just couldn’t figure it out, he would just You Tube it to help with the solution. Most recently his great and most important hobby of all was spending time with his three boys and putting a smile on each of their faces.
Mikel was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Robyn Griffith and one brother Anthony Dial.
Surviving is the love of his life Anissa Escobar, his sons Easton Mark, Elliott Andrew Lane, and Everett Mason Cain Griffith. Bonus Parents Joleen and Pat Walters, Mother-in-law Mary J. Medina (Pablo Martinez). Bonus brother Mason Walters (Cassie), bonus sister Amy Hadden (Cliff). .Brothers Jonathan Griffith and Christopher Griffith. Sisters Jenny Glueck (Ryan), Kolbie Richardson, Jaclyn O’Dell (Ostin) Brother-in-law Isaiah Escobar. Pallbearers are Mason Walters, Colby Roberts, Pablo Martinez, David Gomez, Bryant Cope, Jeff McDaniel, Rico Granillo and Devin Hobbs. Honorary Pallbearers are Easton, Elliott and Everett Griffith, Cory and Drew VerHaar, Heather, Ashley and Cody Walters, Baylen Roberts, Aviance Medina and Isaiah Escobar.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday December 30th, 2022, at Farmington Funeral Home with Interment to follow at La Plata Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Anissa Escobar family.
