SUN PRAIRIE—Michael “Mikey” Jensen, age 27, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was born on January 16, 1996 and was welcomed with open arms as a member of the Jensen family in November of 1997. He was a Monona Grove High School graduate, Class of 2014, where he also played for the Monona Grove High School hockey team.
Mikey loved riding his many motorcycles, fishing, waterskiing, and just being outdoors. He was truly the “captain of his own ship.” Mikey was a free spirit who did what he wanted and he had the best fun doing it. He brought the most smiles to everyone around him in the process.
Mikey was happiest when he was with his family. His nieces, nephew, siblings, and cousins brought him so much joy. When he was younger, he took many trips up north with extended family that created amazing memories.
Mikey is survived by his mom, Jackie Jensen; siblings Jason (Christine) Jensen, Tony (John) Jensen, Ethan (Ash Gaines) Jensen, and Evan Jensen; nieces and nephew: Morgan, D.C., Taylor, Kylee, Lila, and Payton. He is further survived by many other relatives and countless friends.
Mikey was preceded in death by his hero-- his dad, Fred Jensen, in 2013. Mikey grieved the loss of his father immensely during the last ten years.
A celebration of Mikey’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Cress MCFARLAND, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland, WI 53558.
