Donald Genz Obituary

Wisconsin Rapids at age 79. His cremains will be buried
at Roselawn cemetery in Madison. Terry was born August 20,
1945 in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1963 from Monona
Grove High School. After high school, he went to college for
two years at Stevens Point University. He then enlisted
in the US Navy, where he served for two years. After his Navy
service he worked in Madison for several years with different
jobs, including Greyhound, Sears, and the Wisconsin highway
engineering department. During this time, he met Kristine
Koechel and they were married in 1968. Their son Jason
was born in 1971. Unfortunately, in 1976, Terry developed
serious health problems and was unable to continue working.
He was divorced in 1977 and a few years later moved with
his mother to the Nekoosa area, where she had a retirement home.
He moved to Wisconsin Rapids a few years before her passing in
1989, and lived there until his recent passing. He is survived
by his son Jason and brother Alan.

I am very sorry to hear that Terry has passed away. We were good friends from late elementary school through high school. He was a very special person and will be missed. My condolences to Alan and the rest of Terry´s family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was a high school classmates of mine and we went to the same church. I know he had many difficult years. I enjoyed visiting with him at class reunions when a fellow classmate would drive him down to Madison to join us.
