Milagros Altagracia Ramirez age 74 of Smithville passed away Tuesday evening at her residence. She was born April 3, 1951, to her parents the late Gerardo and Manuela Vazques-Pena Ramirez. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Cadenlaria Ramirez, Manolito Ramirez, Gerardo Ramirez; grandchildren, Luis Garcia and Reynardo Garcia. Mrs. Ramirez was a Homemaker. She is survived by husband, Jorge Garcia; 4 children, Llamile (Jason) Leadingham, Jorge Garcia, Abigail (Alex) Ocampo, Raymond (Chrystal) Garcia; grandchildren, Lazaro (Courtney) Alvarez, Adam (Icy) Diamond, Ryan (Morgan) Diamond, Gabrielle Diamond (Brian Matz), Hannah Diamond (Tristan Thompson), Abigail (Isaac) Riggs, Stanley (Jessica) Cruz, Jorge Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Mario Garcia, Lazaro (Leah) Garcia, Raymond (Katie) Garcia, Antonio Garcia, Juan Garcia, Nicole (Cristian) Punyahotra, Brandi Garcia, Emma Garcia; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tairy Ramirez, Leonie Ramirez, Norberto Ramirez, MariaEster Ramirez, Asela Ramirez, Enrique Ramirez, Hector Ramirez. Funeral services will be Friday January 16, 2026, at 1PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Visitation will be held Friday January 16, 2026, from 10AM until the time of the service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Ramirez family.
