Mildred Bradford, age 94, passed away on January 3, 2024, in Dickson, TN. She was born on August 26, 1929, to the late Jim and Lizzie McCord. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James “Brad” Bradford and grandson, Jeff Bradford.
Survived by her daughter in law, Brenda Bradford, grandson, Jason (Dana) Bradford, granddaughter in law, Summer Stanley, great grandchildren, Andrea Bradford, Gunner Bradford, Ethan Bradford, and Payton Bradford, loving niece, Velma Castleman, and other relatives.
One of Mildred's greatest passions was gardening. Her garden was always a sight to behold, bursting with colorful blooms that reflected her nurturing spirit. Mildred's love for nature extended beyond her garden as she found solace in quilting and completing puzzles. These activities allowed her mind to wander and explore the beauty within every stitch or puzzle piece.
Family meant everything, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with endless love and affection. They brought immeasurable joy to her life, and she cherished every moment they spent together. Mildred had an undeniable talent for baking fried pies. Her skills in the kitchen were matched only by the twinkle in her eye as she danced to country music. Mildred had a natural rhythm that made it impossible for anyone not to join in on the fun.
To honor the beautiful life of Mildred Bradford, services have been organized as follows: Visitation will take place Tuesday January 9, 2024, from 11:30 am until the Celebration of Life 1:30 pm all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home located at 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
