She always said the children kept her young and energetic. Mom was the center of every family gathering running from table to table holding babies and making sure everyone was ok and of course not hungry. Mom was the first to jump if someone was in need for family friends or strangers. Always had a bright Big smile no matter what she could light up a room with her loud infections laugh and beautiful smile telling stories of her life as a kid or her night of singing or the grandkids while babysitting she had a million stories to tell!
She loved singing karaoke at home and local places anyone could find with all of her daughters forcing them to get up and sing something for her as she loved to sing a variety of songs from Elvis and Englebert to Meatloaf and Celine Deon. Her second fun pass time was sitting at a 7's slot machine in Atlantic City she could spend hours there winning loosing and winning again. She never hit the Jackpot but she loved to try! In the most recent years she loved going to adult social gatherings where should could dance sing play games, going on trips to see museums and parks and zoos even visiting where she grew up in Jersey City she loved to reminisce. She also loved to travel but by car only, she would travel to Florida to visit her daughter Anne and family, she wouldn't sit still there either, miniature golfing, karaoke, beach and boardwalk sunsets even driving go carts and of course going to Disney parks right up into her early 80's.
She also loved going to Plays anywhere and Concerts of Tribute bands and Elvis imitators. She loved going to church to see her friends and see her "Fan Club". She never wanted to sit home and relax she wanted to keep going and keep living and enjoy life family and friends for as long as she possibly could here on earth. Although we will MISS her Dearly, we know she is in heaven although we do not think she is resting, we truly believe she is definitely still running around and like Jesus has prepared a place for her, she is having tea with Mother Mary and making sure there is as place in heaven for us all to be reunited with her again one day!
