Mildred Dearman Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Jean Dearman, age 88, of Dewy Rose, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home.
A native of Laurel, Mississippi, Mildred was the daughter of the late Walter Chambliss and Mazaline Legg Chambliss. She was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Elbert County School System as a custodian.
Mildred is preceded in death by her cherished companion, Donald Lee "Donny" Lengyel; devoted husband, Brady Roy Dearman; sons: Jerry and Danny Boyd; son-in-law; Frank T. Alleva; granddaughter: April Jean Duncan; and siblings; Dorothy Donaldson, Dolly Jones, Marie Hartfield, Oliver Chambliss.
Survivors include her children: David (Jo) Boyd, Randy (Teresa) Dearman, Nancy Jean Boyd Alleva, and Mary “Anzie” (Jeff) Landress; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Audrey Hennis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2pm in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
