DOCKERY, MILDRED POTTER, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday morning March 23, 2005 at the family home.

Mrs. Dockery was a member of Inskip Baptist Church, and preceded in death by sons, Kent Dockery and Dennis Dockery; her parents, Mamie Alice and Roscoe Potter, Sr., and brother, Roscoe Horace Potter, Jr.

Survivors: husband of 62 years, Kyle Tipton Dockery; daughter, Joyce D. Lee; grandchildren,“J.P.”James Patrick Lee and Alicon Christine Lee, all of Knoxville.

Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside services and interment at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike Segers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary Oglewood Avenue at Broadway

Joyce, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's death. She was a beautiful person. I met her in 1950 and she became my sister-in-law in 1951. That only lasted four years but I have always remembered her kindness and poise. My condolences to you and your father.
