It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of Ms. Mildred Elana Hydle, 58, of Mermentau, LA. A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 15, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Elana was born on December 7, 1963, in Lake Charles, LA, to Calvin Hydle and Gladys Broxson. She worked in environmental services in the medical field for many years. She enjoyed her spare time playing bingo and going to the casino. She cherished every minute she had with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Mildred was a resident of the Mermentau area most of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Millie (Matthew) Stokes of Lake Arthur; sons, Preston (Jennifer) Foster of Mermentau and Francis Clark of Lake Charles; sister, Brenda Jones; brothers Donald Hydle, Sr., Robert Hydle, Sr., and Jerry Hydle; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue Ann Foster; and brother, Rodger Hydle.
