Mildred Todd Lantion was born, on June 6, 1931, in Spartanburg SC to the late Samuel V. Todd and the late Ritter Cunnigham Todd. She was educated in Spartanburg County schools. Mildred was a domestic engineer for many years.
Mildred was a very sweet and loving lady. She spent her spare time babysitting her grandchildren, niece, and nephew. She enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas especially, The Young and the Restless. She was a proud member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and her favorite color was red.
Mildred was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Elester Lantion; children, Patricia Moore, Joanne Sanders, Elester Lantion, Jr., Samuel Lantion, David Lantion and Teresa Wilkins.
She leaves her lifetime of love and memories to daughters, Brenda Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC and Cynthia (Alvin) Lewis of Greer, SC; brother, Isiah Todd of Winston Salem, NC; eleven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends;
On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Mildred transitioned peacefully at Physical Rehab & Wellness Center of Spartanburg. Her loving spirit will be cherished and honored by her family and friends.
