Mildred met Gary Miles on October 4, 1971. From this union was born a son, Roderick Miles, and daughter, La'Tanya Miles.
She spent most of her adult life traveling abroad in Germany. She returned to Jacksonville in 2013.
Mildred departed this life Monday, February 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Remus King. She leaves to mourn her passing her son, Roderick Miles (Andrea); daughter, La'Tanya Miles; sister, Cammie Wise; an aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friend, Lawrence Izzard.
