Millie passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 24, 2024 at Symphony Tri-Cities at the age of 95. She was born on September 15, 1929 to the late Gustav and Meta (Kussro) Wyneken in Richville, Michigan. She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and volunteered in the office and for many different church events over the years. She was also a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Couples Club through the Church. Before her husband’s passing in 2000, they enjoyed bowling together and spending time at the hunting cabin. Millie spent her summers in Ellsworth with her family and loved sitting around the campfire. She enjoyed the outdoors, going camping, fishing and playing cards. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Millie is survived by her children and their families; Carol (Rich) Jezewski and step-daughter, Lisa (Bob); Debbie Gruehn and son, Trevor (Gina) Morin and their children, Brooks, Theo and Dax; daughter, Traci Morin; Doug (Laurie) Nuffer and their sons, Zach (Sara) Nuffer and Aaron Nuffer; Sherry (Ed) Keit and their children, Adam (Heather) Keit, Laura Keit, Tyler (Lindsay) Keit and their children, Olivia and Jack; Alex (Angie) Keit and their daughter, Blake; Archie, her special dog and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Nuffer; five sisters and three brothers-in-law.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Aides at Symphony Tri-Cities, as well as the staff with AdvisaCare Hospice, for their care and compassion throughout this difficult time.
