Obituary
Mildred E. 'Millie' 'Popcorn' Pappas, 59, of North Charleroi passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born on September 29, 1963 she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara Gereshenski.
She was a waitress, cook and bartender at several locations in the Valley and was a member of the Charleroi Belgian Club. She was an animal lover and she enjoyed raising rabbits. She also loved to cook, bake, read, watch movies and solve puzzles.
Millie is survived by her husband, Nick Pappas; sons, Raymond (Missy) Pappas, of Dunlevy and Nick (Veronica) Pappas, of North Charleroi; granddaughter, Autumn Pappas; sisters, Vera (Jay) Sheppard, of Monessen and Michele (Dennis) Price, of West Virginia; nephew, Jacob Price; aunt, Kathy Martin, of Roscoe; cousin, Chad Martin, of Belle Vernon; and step-grandchildren, Cynthia, Thomas and Michael Morrison.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Judith Ann Kerestan; and uncle, Eldred Martin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 on Saturday, September 30 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Services will begin at 7:45 pm on Saturday celebrated by Pastor Dennis Stitch of the First Christian Church of Charleroi.
